After the Burial

Harry receives a note from Hagrid asking him to attend Aragog's burial. He decides to use Felix Felicis to help him get the memory from Slughorn. Under the potion's influence, he feels a strong urge to go to Hagrid's. There, he finds Slughorn, who has come to collect acromantula venom. Harry manipulates the situation, and after a night of drinking and conversation, he appeals to Slughorn's guilt and fear. He reminds Slughorn of his mother's sacrifice and his own destiny as the Chosen One. Finally, Slughorn, overcome with emotion, extracts the true memory from his own head and gives it to Harry. The mission is a success.
