Narcissa's Plea to Snape

Narcissa Malfoy, accompanied by her sister Bellatrix Lestrange, travels to the dilapidated house of Severus Snape in Spinner's End. Narcissa is desperate, fearing for her son Draco's life after Lord Voldemort assigned him a dangerous mission. Bellatrix is openly suspicious of Snape's loyalty, but Snape calmly defends his actions, explaining his role as a spy for the Dark Lord. Narcissa begs Snape to protect Draco and, if necessary, to complete the task himself. Snape agrees, and they make an Unbreakable Vow, with Bellatrix as the Bonder. Snape swears to watch over Draco, protect him from harm, and carry out the deed if Draco fails.
