Horcruxes Revealed

Harry brings the true memory to Dumbledore. They view it together, seeing the full conversation where Tom Riddle asks Slughorn about creating multiple Horcruxes. Dumbledore confirms his theory: Voldemort has been splitting his soul into seven pieces, creating six Horcruxes. He reveals that he has already destroyed two: Tom Riddle's diary and Marvolo Gaunt's ring. He believes the remaining Horcruxes are Hufflepuff's cup, Slytherin's locket, Nagini the snake, and possibly an object from Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. Dumbledore tells Harry that he has been searching for them and is close to finding another. He promises to take Harry with him when he does.
