Jane Visits London with the Gardiners

Jane accepts an invitation from her aunt and uncle, the Gardiners, to spend time in London, hoping to see Bingley. However, during her stay, Caroline Bingley neglects her, and Jane realizes that her friendship with Caroline was a pretense. She finally accepts that Bingley is lost to her. Elizabeth, meanwhile, learns from her aunt that Wickham has transferred his attentions to a Miss King, who has inherited a fortune.
