Visiting Johnny in the hospital

Ponyboy and Keith "Two-Bit" Mathews visit Johnny Cade in the hospital. Johnny is pale and weak but glad to see them. He asks for a copy of Gone with the Wind. Johnny's mother arrives, but he refuses to see her. Two-Bit is furious at her lack of concern. They then visit Dallas Winston, who is recovering.
