Decision to Abandon the Body

After the older boys leave, Chris breaks down, crying and screaming. Gordon convinces him that they cannot take the body back, as Ace and his gang could lie and get them into serious trouble. Reluctantly, the others agree. They collect the shell casings from the gun and decide to return home, leaving Ray Brower's body behind.
