Discovery of Taumoeba

Grace and Rocky use a chain and sampler to collect air from the Astrophage breeding zone on Planet Adrian. Examining the sample under a microscope, Grace discovers a diverse ecosystem of microorganisms, including a predator that actively hunts and consumes Astrophage. He names this predator 'Taumoeba.' This discovery is a major breakthrough, as it provides a potential biological solution to the Astrophage infestation: a natural predator that could be used to control Astrophage populations on Venus and other infected worlds.
