Principal Denver uses the intercom to contact Room 16. Charlie identifies himself and confirms he has killed Mrs. Underwood and Mr. Vance. Denver asks Charlie to release the hostages, but Charlie refuses, stating they haven't finished 'getting it on.' Charlie threatens to shoot someone if tear gas is used and demands to be called 'Charlie.' Denver reluctantly agrees.
