Release of hostages

Corky Herald pulls up the shades. The hostages file out of Room 16, their hands streaked with ink. They walk across the lawn, surrounded by police and reporters. Carol Granger is the last to leave, possibly looking back. Charlie remains in the classroom with the catatonic Ted Jones.
