Sniper shot and survival
State police sniper Daniel Malvern fires a Mauser rifle at Charlie, aiming for his heart. The bullet strikes the padlock Titus in Charlie's breast pocket, saving his life. Charlie falls but gets up, fires at the police to drive them back, and reloads. The class is shocked, and Ted Jones is furious that Charlie survived.
