Feyd-Rautha, the new Baron Harkonnen, challenges Paul to a duel under the rules of kanly. Paul accepts, and they fight with knives. Feyd-Rautha uses a poisoned blade, but Paul overcomes him and kills him. The duel is a personal victory for Paul and eliminates the last major Harkonnen threat.
