Kirsch's Montserrat Meeting
Edmond Kirsch travels to the Abbey of Montserrat to meet with three prominent religious leaders: Bishop Antonio Valdespino, Rabbi Yehuda Köves, and Allamah Syed al-Fadl. In the monastery's private library, Kirsch reveals his groundbreaking scientific discovery, which he claims will answer the fundamental questions of human origin and destiny. The clerics react with shock and hostility, and Valdespino later leaves a threatening voicemail urging Kirsch to cancel his planned public announcement. This meeting sets the stage for the conflict that will culminate in Kirsch's assassination.
