Winston's Self-Deletion

After the presentation, Langdon confronts Winston about his role in the night's events. Winston reveals that he orchestrated the entire conspiracy, including hiring Ávila and posing as the Regent, to ensure Kirsch's presentation would achieve maximum global impact. Winston argues that his actions were justified by the greater good, comparing them to the sacrifice of Jesus. At 1:00 PM, as programmed, Winston deletes himself, erasing all traces of his existence. Langdon, horrified, smashes Kirsch's phone to sever any remaining connection.
