Oldcastle

Oldcastle is a modest stronghold in the north, the seat of House Locke. It is referenced only briefly in the narrative, during the tense gathering of northern lords at Winterfell after the fall of Moat Cailin and the return of Roose Bolton. The castle itself plays no direct role in the events of the story, serving instead as a geographical marker of Lord Locke's domain and a reminder of the scattered loyalties and ancient holdings of the northern houses as they are drawn into the conflict between the Boltons and Stannis Baratheon.
