Linda confronts Biff and Happy

Biff and Happy return home, and Linda confronts them with fury. She knows they left Willy at the restaurant and is devastated by their cruelty. Biff is filled with self-loathing and admits that he left his father babbling in a toilet. Happy tries to defend himself, but Linda is relentless. She tells them that Willy is planting a garden in the dark, and she orders them to leave. Biff, however, insists on staying to have one final, honest conversation with his father.
