Frank Frink goes to W-M Corporation to retrieve his tools. He encounters Wyndam-Matson, who refuses to rehire him. Ed McCarthy, the shop foreman, suggests that Frink start his own jewelry business, using his skills to create original pieces. Frink is skeptical but intrigued. He consults the I Ching again and receives Hexagram Eleven, Peace, with a moving line that warns of doom. Despite the ominous line, Frink decides to pursue the idea.
