Confrontation with Abbot Abo

William warns Abbot Abo that he is in danger, as he is the last person who knows the library's secrets. The abbot, however, refuses to listen and orders William to leave the abbey the next morning. He is more concerned with protecting the abbey's reputation than with uncovering the truth. This forces William to act on his own.
