Viserys's Death

Viserys Targaryen, drunk and desperate, threatens Daenerys and her unborn child in front of the Dothraki. Khal Drogo kills him by pouring molten gold over his head, fulfilling his promise of a 'golden crown.' This event removes the last male Targaryen claimant and solidifies Daenerys's position as the head of her house.
