Destruction of the Careers' Supplies

Katniss observes the Careers' camp and realizes the supplies are protected by land mines, reactivated by the boy from District 3. She shoots arrows to rip open a bag of apples, causing them to fall and trigger a chain reaction of explosions. The supplies are destroyed. The boy from District 3 is killed by Cato in anger. Katniss is temporarily deafened by the blast but escapes. The Careers believe the bomber is dead, but Katniss survives. Foxface later scavenges from the ruins.
