Private Session with Gamemakers

Katniss has her private session with the Gamemakers. She demonstrates her archery skills, hitting a dummy's heart, severing a sandbag rope, and shooting a hanging light. However, the Gamemakers are distracted by a roast pig. Angered, Katniss shoots an arrow into the apple in the pig's mouth, pinning it to the wall. She then walks out without being dismissed. She fears she has ruined her chances, but later receives a training score of 11, the highest. Haymitch says the Gamemakers liked her temper.
