Finding Peeta

Katniss searches for Peeta and finds him camouflaged in a muddy bank near a stream. He is severely wounded from a sword fight with Cato, with a deep gash on his leg that is infected. Katniss cleans his wounds, applies tracker jacker leaves to draw out pus, and gives him fever medicine. She hides him in a cave and tends to him. Peeta is weak but grateful. They share a kiss, and Katniss realizes she cares for him.
