The Audience with the Great Head

Dorothy is summoned to the Throne Room, where she sees a giant floating Head with no body. The Head speaks, claiming to be Oz. Dorothy asks to be sent back to Kansas. Oz says he will help only if she first kills the Wicked Witch of the West. Dorothy protests, but Oz insists. She leaves in tears and tells her friends. This event sets the main task of the second half of the story and reveals Oz's manipulative nature.
