The Audience with the Lovely Lady

The Scarecrow is taken to the Throne Room, where he sees a beautiful winged Lady instead of the Head. She claims to be Oz. The Scarecrow asks for brains, and Oz says he will give them only if the Scarecrow helps kill the Wicked Witch. The Scarecrow returns disappointed. This event shows Oz's shape-shifting deception and reinforces the condition for granting wishes.
