The Rescue of the Tin Woodman and Scarecrow

Dorothy frees the Lion and tells the Winkies they are no longer slaves. They celebrate. Dorothy and the Lion, with the Winkies' help, find the Tin Woodman's battered body on the rocky plain and carry him back to the castle. Tinsmiths repair him over three days. Then they find the tall tree where the Scarecrow's clothes were thrown. The Tin Woodman chops it down, and the Scarecrow is restuffed with clean straw. The friends are reunited and spend happy days at the Yellow Castle. This event restores the group and prepares for the return to Oz.
