Examination of the Body

Poirot and Dr. Constantine examine Ratchett's compartment and body. They find twelve stab wounds, some superficial, others deep and forceful. The doctor notes that some wounds appear to have been inflicted after death, and that both left-handed and right-handed blows were used. Poirot discovers a woman's handkerchief with an initial H, a pipe-cleaner, and a charred note fragment mentioning 'little Daisy Armstrong.'
