Langdon and Sophie fly to Scotland and go to Rosslyn Chapel, the location indicated on the Grail map. There, Sophie meets her grandmother, Marie Chauvel, who is alive. Marie reveals that Sophie's parents were from the Merovingian bloodline and that her brother also survived the car accident. Sophie is reunited with her brother, who is the young docent at the chapel. She learns the truth about her family and her heritage.
