Bilbo's 111th Birthday Party

Bilbo Baggins throws a grand birthday party in Hobbiton to celebrate his 111th birthday and Frodo's 33rd. The event is marked by fireworks, a large feast, and a speech. At the end of his speech, Bilbo puts on the One Ring and vanishes, disappearing from the Shire forever. He returns to Bag End, where he has a tense conversation with Gandalf about the Ring, eventually leaving it behind for Frodo.
