Frodo's Decision to Leave the Fellowship

After the Fellowship is attacked by Orcs at Parth Galen, Frodo decides to continue the quest to destroy the Ring alone, fearing the Ring's corrupting influence on his companions. He slips away from the camp, but Samwise Gamgee catches him and insists on accompanying him. Together they take a boat across the Anduin, leaving the rest of the Fellowship behind.
