The Departure of the Ring-bearers

Frodo, along with Bilbo, Gandalf, Elrond, and Galadriel, departs from the Grey Havens on a ship to the West. Sam, Merry, and Pippin see them off. Frodo, still wounded by his experiences, seeks healing in the Undying Lands. Sam returns to the Shire, where he becomes Mayor and lives a long life.
