Montag visits Faber
Montag makes his way to Faber's house, where he tells the old man what has happened. Faber is shocked but supportive. He gives Montag money and advice on how to escape. Faber plans to leave for St. Louis to meet a retired printer. Montag changes into Faber's old clothes and uses whisky to mask his scent from the Hound. He then heads toward the river, following Faber's instructions.
