Creation of the Monster

Victor completes his work, infusing a spark of being into the lifeless body at his feet. The creature's dull yellow eye opens, and it breathes. However, Victor is immediately horrified by the grotesque appearance of his creation. The beauty of his dream vanishes, replaced by breathless horror and disgust. He rushes from the room, unable to bear the sight of the monster he has brought to life.
