Victor's Nervous Fever

Victor falls into a severe nervous fever that lasts for several months. Henry Clerval nurses him back to health, concealing the extent of his illness from Victor's family. During his delirium, Victor raves about the monster, but Henry dismisses it as the wanderings of a disturbed mind. Victor slowly recovers, and by spring, he is well enough to leave his sickroom.
