Trial of Justine Moritz

Justine is put on trial for the murder of William. Despite Elizabeth's impassioned defense and her own calm protestations of innocence, the circumstantial evidence is overwhelming. Victor is wracked with guilt, knowing that he could save her by confessing the truth. The court finds Justine guilty.
