Victor's Time in London

Victor and Clerval spend several months in London. Victor meets with natural philosophers to gain the knowledge necessary for his work, but he finds no pleasure in society. He is tormented by his secret and the memory of his crimes. Clerval, meanwhile, is full of energy and plans for his own future, including a voyage to India.
