Meeting Kamala
Siddhartha arrives near a city and sees a beautiful woman, Kamala, in a sedan-chair. He is captivated by her beauty and decides to learn the art of love from her. He approaches her, and she agrees to teach him, but only if he obtains fine clothes, shoes, and money. She advises him to seek employment with Kamaswami, the richest merchant in the city.
