The Ghost of Christmas Present's Appearance

The Ghost of Christmas Present is a jolly Giant, clothed in a simple deep green robe bordered with white fur, with a bare chest and bare feet. On its head is a holly wreath set with icicles, and it has dark brown curls, a sparkling eye, and an open hand. It carries a glowing torch, shaped like Plenty's horn. The Spirit tells Scrooge that it has more than eighteen hundred brothers and that its life upon this globe is very brief, ending that night at midnight. Scrooge, now submissive, asks to be conducted wherever the Spirit will, and the Spirit bids him touch its robe.
