The Reconciliation with Mrs. Barry

Mrs. Barry, grateful for Anne's quick thinking, comes to Green Gables to thank her and apologize for her earlier harshness. She gives Anne permission to play with Diana again. Anne and Diana are joyfully reunited. This event restores Anne's most cherished friendship and solidifies her place in the community.
