The Arrival of Father Christmas

The group emerges from the cave to find a sledge driven by Father Christmas, not the Witch. He announces that Aslan is on the move and that the Witch's magic is weakening. He gives gifts: a new sewing machine for Mrs. Beaver, a repaired dam for Mr. Beaver, a sword and shield for Peter, a bow and horn for Susan, and a dagger and a bottle of healing cordial for Lucy. He warns that the gifts are tools, not toys, and that the time to use them is near. He then departs, wishing them a Merry Christmas.
