The Coronation of the Four
The children and their allies march to Cair Paravel, the castle by the sea. In the Great Hall, Aslan crowns Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy as the Kings and Queens of Narnia. They are hailed as King Peter the Magnificent, Queen Susan the Gentle, King Edmund the Just, and Queen Lucy the Valiant. Aslan then quietly slips away, reminding them that once a king or queen in Narnia, always a king or queen. They rule wisely and happily for many years.
