The Prophecy of the Four Thrones

Over tea, Mr. Beaver explains the situation in Narnia: the White Witch has made it always winter but never Christmas. He tells them about Aslan, the true King, who is not safe but is good. He recites a prophecy that when two Sons of Adam and two Daughters of Eve sit on the four thrones at Cair Paravel, the Witch's reign will end. The children realize they are the prophesied ones. Mr. Beaver plans to lead them to meet Aslan at the Stone Table the next day.
