The Rescue of Edmund

The Witch prepares to kill Edmund in a dark valley, sharpening her stone knife. Just as she is about to strike, Aslan's rescue party—centaurs, unicorns, eagles, and other creatures—arrives, scattering the Witch's forces. The Witch and her dwarf escape by using magic to disguise themselves as a stump and a boulder. Edmund is rescued, unconscious but alive. He is brought back to the camp and, the next morning, has a private conversation with Aslan, who forgives him and restores him to his family.
