Erik's Death

The Persian receives a note from Erik, saying that he is dead. The Persian later learns that Erik's body was found in the cellars of the Opera, near the lake, with a gold ring on his finger. Christine had kept her promise and buried him. The skeleton is discovered years later during renovations.
