Erik's Visit to the Persian

Erik visits the Persian in his apartment, looking weak and ill. He tells the Persian that he is dying of love for Christine and that he has let her go. He also tells him about the death of Count Philippe, which he says was an accident. Erik asks the Persian to inform him when he dies and to take care of Christine's papers.
