The Scorpion or the Grasshopper

Christine communicates with Raoul and the Persian through the wall. Erik has given her a choice: turn the scorpion to accept marriage, or the grasshopper to blow up the Opera. The Persian and Raoul urge her to turn the scorpion, but they are unsure which is safe. Christine eventually turns the scorpion, and water floods the cellar, extinguishing the gunpowder.
