Jim Hides in the Apple Barrel

As the ship nears Treasure Island, Jim climbs into an empty apple barrel to get an apple. He overhears Long John Silver talking to the crew, revealing that he is a pirate and that many of the crew are mutineers. Silver plans to wait until the treasure is found, then kill the honest men and sail away. Jim is terrified and realizes that the lives of his friends depend on him.
