The First Day's Fighting
As the loyal party reaches the stockade, they are attacked by seven mutineers. They fire and kill one, and the others retreat. However, Tom Redruth is shot and mortally wounded. They carry him into the log-house, where he dies. The captain runs up the Union Jack. The mutineers bombard the stockade with cannon fire from the ship, but the shots are mostly ineffective.
