The Voyage Begins

The Hispaniola sets sail from Bristol. The crew sings 'Fifteen Men on the Dead Man's Chest' as they weigh anchor. Jim is excited and tired. During the voyage, Mr. Arrow proves to be a drunkard and disappears overboard one night. The crew is advanced, and Job Anderson becomes the de facto mate. Long John Silver is kind to Jim, and the parrot Captain Flint screeches 'Pieces of eight.'
