The Jolly-boat's Last Trip
The loyal party makes a final trip in the jolly-boat, overloaded with men and supplies. They are swept by the current and come under fire from the Hispaniola, where the mutineers have turned the cannon. The squire shoots one of the gunners, but the boat is swamped by the cannonball's near miss. They wade ashore, losing most of their stores and two muskets.
