Eddie Kaspbrak's Journey

Eddie Kaspbrak, a hypochondriac limousine company owner, receives a call from Mike Hanlon. The call triggers memories of his overprotective mother, Sonia, and his childhood asthma. Eddie packs a bag full of medicines and leaves his wife, Myra, despite her protests. He takes a train to Boston, then drives a Cadillac north to Derry. During the journey, he has a nightmare about the leper he encountered under the porch of the house on Neibolt Street. Eddie feels like he is traveling back in time, not just north, and is terrified of what awaits him.
