The Chase in the Sewers

After the confrontation at Neibolt Street, Henry Bowers and his gang chase the Losers into the sewers. The Losers descend into the dark, labyrinthine tunnels, guided by Eddie's sense of direction. They are pursued by Henry, Victor, and Belch, but the entity kills Victor and Belch, leaving Henry alone. The Losers reach It's lair, a vast chamber with a small door. They enter and confront the Spider, the physical form of It. Bill engages in the Ritual of Chüd, a mental battle, and the Losers use their combined belief to wound It. They escape, believing It is dead, but the entity survives.
